I have always enjoyed volunteering in our community. As a room mother at Broad Street School, on Project Graduation, ran the concession stand for Cinderella for three years, Horseheads Woman’s Club (President), Chemung County Council of Women, Friends of Horseheads Library Board, volunteer at Horseheads Historical Society Depot, the Horseheads Food Pantry, Horseheads Alumni Association, and the Horseheads Petal Pushers – an organization that has been very instrumental in planting flowers in our Village, and at the Zim House. Along the way I have enjoyed meeting many talented people who also love Horseheads.
